Football practice will begin on Wednesday, August 20th. All other Fall sports practices including Cross Country, Boys & Girls Golf, Boys Tennis, Girls Soccer and Volleyball will begin on Monday, August 25th. Girls Swim/Dive will also be offered through a co-op with Enumclaw High School (contact their athletic office for registration information). Practice dates and times will be posted on the athletic page of the WRHS website in August.
We will continue using Arbiter Sports for online athletic registration. Paper forms and in-person registration will not be accepted. It is required that a parent complete this online registration process before a student athlete can participate in athletics at WRHS. If you previously registered for athletic participation through Arbiter Sports, you will only need to update your registration for the current athletic year and applicable sport.
Physicals are valid for two years from the exam date. Physical dates can be verified by viewing your previous registrations. New physicals can be uploaded during the registration process.

Mission of White River Athletics:
White River High School is committed to excellence in athletics while supporting the educational mission of the White River School District. In keeping with the district’s mission statement, the athletic program provides experiences that will develop skills, self-esteem, and self confidence in each student so that they can reach their greatest potential and develop lifetime skills that will enhance their life now and in the future.
We focus on creating opportunities for all student-athletes to develop skills through individual instruction, peer interaction and competition. Our mission is that all individuals associated with Hornet Athletics (coaches, staff, student-athletes, alumni and parents) will value positive character traits developed through athletic participation. We expect all participants to respect themselves and others, put the team before themselves, display honestly and loyalty, and be gracious in victory and defeat.
